Summary

The Lead Teacher is responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children, in compliance with the DCF 251 State of Wisconsin Licensing rules and regulations. This role ensures a safe, nurturing, and educational environment that promotes the emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth of all children.

Duties

� Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the DCF 251 guidelines.
� Maintain a safe and sanitary classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
� Conduct regular observations and assessments of each child?s development and progress.
� Foster an inclusive environment that respects and values diversity among children and staff.
� Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child?s development and any concerns.

Requirements

� Minimum of an Associate?s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; Bachelor?s Degree preferred.
� At least 1 year of experience in a licensed child care setting.
� Knowledge of DCF 251 State of Wisconsin Licensing rules and regulations.
� Strong communication and organizational skills.
� Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
� CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
