REMOTE FREIGHT BROKER/SALES EXECUTIVE
Our client is a leading logistics company specializing in connecting businesses with reliable transportation solutions. We are seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Transportation Freight Broker/Sales Executive to join our growing team. Key Responsibilities :
Negotiate Freight Rates : Source, negotiate, and secure transportation agreements with carriers for shipments.
Develop Relationships : Build and maintain long-term relationships with carriers and clients.
Manage Shipments : Oversee the entire lifecycle of freight shipments, from initial order to final delivery.
Problem-Solving : Address and resolve any issues related to shipments, including delays or damage.
Market Research : Keep track of market trends, supply chain challenges, and industry changes to ensure competitive pricing and service offerings.
Documentation & Compliance : Ensure all freight transactions and documentation comply with industry regulations and standards.
Customer Support : Provide excellent customer service to both clients and carriers, ensuring smooth communications and support
Requirements :
Proven experience in transportation brokerage or logistics, preferably in freight brokering.
Strong knowledge of the freight industry, including transportation modes, rates, and regulations.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote work environment.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in logistics software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to problem-solve and think on your feet in a fast-paced setting.
High School diploma or equivalent required;relevant certifications or degree in logistics, business, or a related field is preferred
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience working remotely in a similar role.
Existing relationships with a network of reliable carriers.
Familiarity with freight management software (e.g., TMS, CRM, etc.).
